01AI Usage Disclaimer

XZYNEXA includes AI-assisted features ("XZYNEXA AI") that help surface potential anomalies, summarise data and draft inspection findings. These features are provided as decision support only.

  • AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a given purpose, and can reflect limitations in the underlying data.
  • AI does not make autonomous engineering, inspection or safety decisions, and does not detect every defect or anomaly.
  • All AI-generated content must be reviewed and validated by a qualified inspector or engineer before any integrity, inspection or operational decision is made.

You remain responsible for verifying outputs and for all decisions taken using the platform.

02Engineering Recommendation Disclaimer

XZYNEXA performs calculations — including corrosion rates, remaining-life estimates, inspection intervals and risk-based inspection (RBI) scoring — using methods based on industry standards such as API 653, 510, 570, 580 and 581.

  • These calculations are tools and decision support, not engineering certifications, design approvals, inspection acceptances, or fitness-for-service (FFS) determinations.
  • Outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of data entered by users and do not replace the judgment of a qualified API-authorised inspector or professional engineer.
  • Fitness-for-service assessments should be performed in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. API 579 / ASME FFS-1) by qualified personnel.
  • XZYMODS is independent and is not affiliated with, nor certified or endorsed by, the American Petroleum Institute (API), ASME or any standards body. References to standards describe methodology only.

Final responsibility for integrity, inspection and safety decisions rests with the asset owner and its qualified personnel.

03Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The XZYMODS website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • XZYMODS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or relating to use of the website, platform or its outputs.
  • Nothing in these disclaimers excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
  • Any liability of XZYMODS for the XZYNEXA platform is governed by, and subject to the caps and exclusions set out in, the applicable signed customer agreement.

04Data Processing Statement

For XZYNEXA customers, XZYMODS processes customer data as a processor on the customer's documented instructions, under a data processing agreement (DPA) that forms part of the customer agreement.

  • Scope: inspection, integrity and account data uploaded to or generated within the platform.
  • Security: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, logical tenant isolation, and managed backups.
  • Sub-processors: cloud infrastructure and supporting services engaged under appropriate contractual safeguards. [Maintain a current sub-processor list.]
  • Residency & transfers: handled per the customer agreement and applicable law, using recognised safeguards for any international transfer.
  • Ownership: customer data remains the property of the customer; XZYMODS does not use it except to provide and support the service.
